Northern Policy Institute, along with the Sudbury Local Immigration Partnership, aim to address welcoming initiatives that are required to promote retention and reconciliation in the region. Such initiatives are necessary in order to mitigate labour market challenges that will inevitably emerge due to demographic shifts, such as an aging labour force, youth-out migration, and low birth rates which several Northern Ontario communities are experiencing. We strongly encourage anyone who is interested to join us for a discussion on our Welcoming Communities paper series!

TIME: Tuesday, February 15 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM EST
